Fee Free Mortgage Advice


Mortgage advice made simple


For owner occupier clients, our mortgage and insurance advice service won't cost you a penny.

For buy to let mortgages, we'll carry out a full fact find, advise you and submit a decision in principle before you have to pay anything. Our broker fee of £395 becomes payable when you ask us to submit your full mortgage application.

Brokers work with mortgages and lenders every day. They know products and criteria and can save you hours of time doing your own research. You'll only have to go through the initial fact finding once with a broker and they can then use this information to approach many different lenders about your case. They'll ensure you meet the criteria and help to avoid unsuccessful applications.

Exclusive products

Some lenders only operate through brokers. We have access to products that you won't find by going directly to a lender.

Product range

Individual lenders will only recommend their own products. A broker will research products from more than one lender to find the most suitable one for your unique needs. Not all brokers are created equal though, some only use a limited number of lenders. Maxwell Moore has access to a comprehensive range of lenders.

Why we charge a fee for buy to let mortgages

The criteria used to assess buy to let mortgage applications has changed significantly and lender criteria varies much more than for residential mortgages. The time required to research, recommend and manage a buy to let application therefore requires more input than for a residential case. We believe our fee recognises the value of our expertise and your time, though that judgement ultimately lies with you!
